Highly regarded worldwide, Aidan Farrell has worked as a colorist in the Film and Television industry for over twenty years. Aidan has built an extensive career of credits across a varied and diverse platform of genres and mediums, from music videos, documentaries, drama series and features. Recent work has included creating the distinct look of series such as Downton Abbey and The Shadow Line.
He has won three Royal Television Society Awards for his work on Wallander, Men of Iron and Australia: Beyond the Fatal Shore and won a News & Documentary Emmy Award in 2001 for his acclaimed work in Ultimate Guide: The Human Body.
Other productions Farrell has worked on include British television shows Murphy’s Law, Sugar Rush, Silent Witness, The Vicar of Dibley and Utopia. He also served as colorist on Martin McDonagh’s Oscar-winning short film Six Shooter. He received BAFTA’s TV Special Award in 2012 for “outstanding creative contribution to the industry and his extensive work and accomplishments in this field.”
