Peter Foott

'The Young Offenders' is a feature directorial debut for Peter Foott, who also wrote and produced the project. His television projects include 'Republic of Telly', on which he has worked as both a writer and producer. Previous work also includes directing 'Mattie' and 'The Centre' and 'The Fear', which he also produced, wrote and edited.

Jim Sheridan

Jim Sheridan is an Irish filmmaker with experience as a Director, Writer, Producer and Actor. He is best known for his work on 'In America', 'In the Name of the Father' and 'My Left Foot'. His most recent project, 'The Secret Scripture' was filmed in Ireland and stars Jack Reynor and Rooney Mara.

Richie Smyth

Richie Smyth is best known for directing commercial and music videos. His work is recognized for its edgy, photographic style, beauty and humanity. He has made music videos for U2, The Verve, Bon Jovi, The Corrs, Melissa Etheridge, Jeremy Irons and Edie Falco amongst many others. 'The Siege of Jadotville' is Richie's first feature film, based on a script by Kevin Brodbin and starring Jamie Dornan.

Darren Thornton

Darren Thornton made his television debut with 'Love is the Drug' in 2004, a six part comedy-drama series for RTÉ. His short films include 'Frankie' and 'Two Hearts'. His debut feature film 'A Date For Mad Mary' screened at the 2016 Galway Film Fleadh with Seána Kerslake in the leading role.
