Moonfleet – Preview Screening

IFTA has a limited number of tickets for Members to attend a special preview screening of new Sky Drama series Moonfleet, followed by a Q&A with Ray Winstone and cast. The series was filmed in Dublin & Wicklow earlier this year & features Irish cast and crew including cinematographer Kieran McGuigan, editor Stephen O’Connell & production designer John Hand.

Written by Ashley Pharoah (Life on Mars, Ashes to Ashes), this two-part adaptation of the much loved John Meade Falkner novel is set in the small Dorset village of Moonfleet. In the story, young John Trenchard (Aneurin Barnard) is desperate to join the local band of smugglers led by Elzevir Block (Ray Winstone). Together they embark on an adventure full of action, friendship and humour, and hunt for a fabled lost diamond. Their journey takes them from 18th Century Dorset, to the Jewel Quarter of The Hague and on to a gripping, final sea voyage.

Please note that the screening takes place at 2.45pm on Monday 2nd December.
Venue: Kings Inn, Constitution Hill in Dublin (one of the many locations where the adventure drama was filmed).
