'KINGS' Official Irish Selection for 'Best Foreign Language'
IFTA, The Irish Film and Television Academy today announced that Tom Collins' 'Kings' starring Colm Meaney, Donal O'Kelly and Brendan Conroy has been officially selected by an independent IFTA jury for submission to the 80th ACADEMY AWARD(S)®, for the 'Best Foreign Language Film' category.

The Tudors Crew Confirmed for Post Screening Q&A
Costume Designer Joan Bergin (The Prestige), production designer Tom Conroy (Breakfast on Pluto, Intermission) and Executive Producer Morgan O'Sullivan (King Arthur, Becoming Jane, Veronica Guerin) are set to attend the Irish Film & Television Academy's special preview screening of 'The Tudors' tonight and will participate in a post screening Q&A.

The 4 th Annual Irish Film and Television Awards took place at Dublin’s RDS on Friday 9th of February. Honouring Irish and international talent in front of a 1,100 audience, host Ryan Tubridy guided proceedings as The Wind that Shakes the Barley, Breakfast on Pluto and Stardust took home the most IFTA gold.

The Irish Film & Television Awards have announced award winning British actors Brian Cox (Troy, Running With Scissors, The Bourne Identity) and Damian Lewis (Band of Brothers, Stormbreaker) will present top Awards at the ceremony on Friday night. Both actors are currently filming ‘The Escapist’ in Dublin.
