Directing Masterclass with Ben Wheatley, supported by Screen Training Ireland

Leading UK Filmmaker Ben Wheatley will participate in a Directing Masterclass as part of this year's John Ford Ireland Film Symposium in Dublin from June 6-8th.

The Masterclass, supported by Screen Training Ireland will focus on Wheatley's work as a director, writer, editor and producer over acclaimed, award-winning feature films (Down Terrace, Kill List, Sightseers and A Field in England) and his beginnings on ads, internet virals, shorts and commercials.

The event, hosted by writer-director Ian Power will also discuss genre, collaboration, Script to Screen, budgets and finance and distribution channels. Wheatley's film A Field in England was the first British film to have a multi-platform release in 2013.
