The Dublin Cinemagic International Film and Television Festival for Young People is back for its 10th year, and are giving children aged 8-12 the chance to take part in a masterclass in presenting to mark the festival launch.
Presenters Ben Shires (Officially Amazing, Match of the Day Kickabout) and Katie Thistleton (CBBC HQ, CBBC Book Club) will provide a unique insight into the exciting world of television presenting. Covering things like; how to prepare for filming, working in a live studio, interviewing techniques, how to get your own personality across on screen, and can you stop yourself laughing in front of the camera?
This fun and interactive session will provide advice and top tips, as well as showcasing the importance of life-skills such as confidence, self-esteem and resilience and an exciting surprise guest will help select two lucky participants who will get the chance to present during Cinemagic in May and report from the Festival.
