About the film
Centering on the reminiscences of Rose McNulty, a woman who has spent over fifty years in state institutions, 'The Secret Scripture' is a deeply moving story of love lost and redeemed, against the backdrop of an emerging Irish state in which female sexuality and independence unsettles the colluding patriarchies of church and nationalist politics. 6.00pm, 22nd Feb, Savoy Cinema
