Irish Film & Television Academy Members are invited to the First Look Family Screening of animated Irish Film, 'Song of the Sea'.
Song of the Sea tells the story of Ben and his little sister Saoirse – the last Seal-child – who embark on a fantastic journey across a fading world of ancient legend and magic in an attempt to return to their home by the sea. The film takes inspiration from the mythological Selkies of Irish folklore, who live as seals in the sea but become humans on land.
"One of the most blissfully beautiful animated films ever made. It is a gem beaming with awe-inspiring, heartwarming magic" - Indiewire
"A marvel to behold" - Variety
"Another satisfying smack in the face of computer-generated 3D animation … with details that make them look fresh and often quite extraordinary" - The Hollywood Reporter
