    Amy Huberman

    Academy Member

    Amy made her first appearance on television in RTE’s On Home Ground. She went on to appear as Bella in Showbands, Dream Team 80’s, Camera Cafe and George Gently (BBC). Other television credits include comedy sketch show Your Bad Self, Channel 4’s Comedy Lab, Comedy Central (UK)‘s comedy drama Threesome which attracted rave reviews and record viewing figures, Animal Practice for NBC, Heading Out for BBC and the ever popular Moone Boy.

    Amy is perhaps best known as the much loved character Daisy O’Callaghan who appeared in all seven seasons of The Clinic for which she was nominated as Best Supporting Actress at the Irish Film & Television Awards in 2008, 2009 and 2010. On film Amy has appeared in independent Irish features Satellites and Meteorites. A Film With Me In It, Rewind, for which she won the IFTA for Best Lead Actress Film in 2011, Three Wise Women, Chasing Leprechauns and Stella Days opposite Martin Sheen, for which she was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress (Film) Award in the 2012 IFTA’s. She has recently been seen in the role of Ruth in comedy film, The Stag  and TV Drama  Striking Out  where she played lead role Tara Rafferty, both of which she was IFTA nominated for. More recently she played the lead role and served as writer for the comedy series Finding Joy (2018–2020), and appeared in the crime drama Harry Wild (2022–2024). In 2024, she began hosting the Irish version of the reality series The Traitors, and in 2025, she took a role in the football mockumentary film Fran the Man. Her recent work includes both acting and screenwriting across television and film.
