About IFTA:
IFTA is a not-for-profit all-Ireland organisation with a membership of 1,300 Irish industry professionals who work within the Film, Television, Animation & Cultural Creative sectors in Ireland. The Academy nurtures and supports Irish creative talent and rewards Irish Excellence in achievement, showcasing it to the world at large. Next year in 2026 the Academy will undertake a wide-ranging high-profile Programme of Events across 12 months. As well as delivering the Irish Academy Award ceremonies, the Academy’s 12 month Learning Programme provides unique access to some of the world’s most inspiring and high profile talent through discussions, masterclasses, workshops, lectures, and mentoring programmes.
The successful candidate will work across the delivery of Ireland’s landmark Awards Ceremonies for the screen industry, and will assist with the promotion of the Academy’s year-round Programme of Learning Events (IFTA Programme of Excellence) as well as the Academy’s PR and communications work; consumer facing campaigns, Digital Content, Social Media, Marketing campaigns & Online platforms across both the Awards and the Academy’s year-round events.
Key Responsibilities:

Work with the Communications team to deliver successful campaigns/engagement in line with the Academy Sales & Marketing strategy.

Prepare content for digital marketing platforms incorporating images and graphics for social media, website, newsletters, email marketing.

Schedule and publish social media content/ posts; write copy, coordinate, and source/create images for IFTA social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube,Twitter).

Edit and post videos, podcasts and/or audio content for our social media sites.

Monitor content on IFTA Website and ensure text and imagery are kept updated.

Create online promos and communications for Website and Social Platforms, incorporating images/graphics using photoshop, canva, or similar.

Monitor and coordinate community engagement on social media channels and update/collect the marketing statistics and related analytics and performance.
The Ideal Candidate will have:

A degree in Digital Marketing, communications, creative or a related field.

Experience in creating branded content for web and social media platforms is vital.

General graphic design ability via Photoshop, Canva or similar software is desirable..

Excellent organisational skills, with clear and concise communication ability across visual marketing, on-brand editorial and campaign outcomes.

The ability to manage confidential information with absolute discretion and a high degree of personal integrity.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Editing tools as well as general web publishing skills (familiarity with HTML desired but not required).

A passion for and knowledge of Irish Film, TV and Animation, as well as the international screen industry as a whole.
Start date: January 2026
Location: 68 Dame Street, Dublin 2. You must be able to work in the Dublin office a minimum 80% of your time.
