TWIG - Members' Screening
IFTA MEMBERS' SCREENING

IFTA and Wildcard Distribution are delighted to present a screening of Twig, followed by a Q&A with writer/director Marian Quinn.
From writer/director Marian Quinn (32A), Twig is a re-telling of Antigone set against Dublin’s gangland. Young Twig (Sade Malone) dreams of escaping with her lover Eamon (Donncha Tynan) but her brothers’ deadly feud draws her back. Her terrible dilemma, either pledge allegiance to the new king Leon (Brían F. O'Byrne), or defy his edict and bury her brother.
The cast is led by Sade Malone and Brían F. O'Byrne, and also includes Ghaliah Conroy, Donncha Tynan, Susan McKeown, Kate Stanley Brennan, Jade Jordan, Emmet Farrell, Jack Meade, Justin Anene and IFTA Rising Star nominee Kwaku Fortune.
Twig was produced by Ruth Carter (Lies We Tell) and Tommy Weir (Mount Analogue Revisited), and executive produced by Patrick O'Neill and Marian Quinn.
Twig is released in Irish cinemas on Friday 21st June.
