The Irish Film and Television Academy, in association with M•A•C Cosmeticsis delighted to announce details of our annual Craft of Make-up event.
This Annual Make-Up Event,  hosted as part of the Academy's year round learning activities, is 
      dedicated to the work of two nominated and award-winning IFTA  Members in the Academy's 
      Make-Up and Hair Design category. This panel of experts will  discuss their individual screen work – 
      giving a rare opportunity  for guests to gain an insight into the Craft of Make-Up. 
     
The event will be hosted  by IFTA Member and broadcaster Karen  Koster.
LINDA  MOONEY
     Linda  Mooney’s career as a make-up artist has seen her work both in Ireland and  across Europe on a variety of     productions  such as The Daisy  Chain, The  Mighty Celt, Baby  of Macon, This  Is The Sea, My  Friend Joe, D’Artagnan, RAW and numerous  German Productions. In 2003, Linda shared the Irish Film & Television Award for Best Make-Up and     Hair  with her collaboration partner Carole Dunne for their work on the TV Movie Watermelon and  picked up her
     second  nomination in 2004 for Paddy Breathnach’s comedy feature Man About Dog.  Recently, she worked on Ciaran 
     Foy’s  debut feature Citadel.
JENNIFER  HEGARTY
    Jennifer  was key make-up artist on The Tudors, for which she won an IFTA in 2008  (along with Dee Corcoran).     Other  television projects she has worked on include Hide and Seek, Omagh, Ballykissangel and David Copperfield.      Her  film credits include Harry Potter, War Horse, Lassie, The  Honeymooners, Saving Private Ryan,    Dancing  at Lughnasa and In the Name of the Father. 
There will be a pre-event drinks reception which will be followed by the Craft of Make-Up panel discussion.
