In 2003, Lynn Johnston was nominated for an IFTA in the Hair & Makeup Category for John Cowley's Intermission and went on to receive an award from IFTA in 2007 for Neil Jordan's Breakfast on Pluto and again in 2012 for Rodrigo Garcia's Albert Nobbs, for which she was nominated for an Academy Award.
Lorraine entered the world of hair in the early 80s. She went from the fashionable pop scene in Dublin and London to later finding her niche in the creative film and TV industry. Lorraine's passion in hair for period costume dramas led her to designing the looks for films such as Bloody Sunday, Breakfast on Pluto and the Oscar-nominated Albert Nobbs. Orla has worked extensively on film and stage productions. Key film projects include The Guard, Ondine, The Wind That Shakes the Barley, Troy, The Taylor of Panama, Evita and Braveheart. Acting as personal hairdresser to Eva Green, she has worked with her on Dark Shadows, Perfect Sense and Womb.
Pamela Smyth is known for her work on Five Minutes of Heaven, Hidden, Your Highness, Game of Thrones and The Fall.
Since graduating from the IADT in 1996, Sharon has been working consistently in film and television. Film credits include prosthetic make-up on Apocalypto, whilst TV credits include The Tudors, Ripper Street and Quirke. Sharon has been an IFTA nominee twice, winning in 2009 for The Tudors.
Eileen Buggy has been in the film and television industry since 1993 having worked in hairdressing from the age of fourteen. She was longing for something a little more creative and found film and television satisfied that desire as it spans many periods and always presents something new.
Tom McInerney has been working as a make-up artist in the fashion, film and TV industry all over the world for the last nineteen years. Currently, Tom is working in Puffjockey Studios catering for the FX side of makeup. His credits include Titanic: Blood and Steel, Camelot and The Tudors.
