KÍLA

KÍLA are a group of musicians from Dublin, heralded as one of Ireland's most innovative and exciting bands. They were founded in 1987 while still attending school in Coláiste Eoin, Dublin. KÍLA's music has been placed in many documentaries on RTE, TG4 and BBC2. KÍLA were nominated for an Emmy in 2015 for their soundtrack to the film Ireland's Wild River.

Stephen McKeon has been composing music for FILM and TELEVISION for over 28 years. He is a 3-time IFTA winning composer for PILGRIMMAGE, QUEEN & COUNTRY, & THE TIGER'S TAIL. His score for Horror feature THE HOLE IN THE GROUND has been described as sounding like “it was composed by Satan on a massive cocaine bender!" Other key works include ROSE PLAYS JULIE, BLACK MIRROR, & POIROT.
