Mark O'Rowe is an Irish playwright and screenwriter. In 2003, Mark wrote his first feature film, Intermission, earning him an IFTA award for screenwriting. He went on to adapt Jonathan Trigell's novel, Boy A, for Cuba Pictures and Channel 4. Mark's adaptation of Daniel Clay's novel Broken, directed by Rufus Norris, opened Cannes Critics' Week and won Best Independent Feature at the BIFAs in 2012. After several years working in theatre, Mark wrote and directed the feature film, The Delinquent Season, in 2016.
Daragh Carville is an award-winning writer from Northern Ireland. His character-driven writing is vivid and energetic with wide-ranging appeal. Daragh is the creator/writer of THE BAY, with a second series due to air in 2020. Daragh is also developing event drama SHANKILL with director Brian Kirk; and a new US TV drama with actor John Cusack.
Mark O'Connor studied Film in Ballyfermot College before attending the New York Film Academy. His debut feature film, Between the Canals was highly acclaimed in Ireland and his second feature King of The Travellers received a VOD release in 150 territories across the world. In 2012, Mark's third feature film Stalker won best film at the Underground Film Festival and was the runner-up at the Galway Film Fleadh. In 2017, Mark helmed Cardboard Gangsters earning him his first IFTA nomination. Netflix released the film globally in September 2018.
Ronan Bennett is a Northern Irish novelist and screenwriter. Bennett is the creator and screenwriter of the Channel 4 show Top Boy and has written several acclaimed screenplays for film and television, among them The Hamburg Cell and Rebel Heart. Other key credits include Public Enemies, starring Johnny Depp and Christian Bale, BBC’s Gunpowder starring Kit Harrington. Aside from his screenwriting career Bennett has published five novels and two non-fiction works.
