This programme told, for the first time, the complete story of what happened inside mother and baby homes – high fatality rates, cruelty and the sale of children to families in America. It included interviews with women who went through the homes and surviving children who have spent lifetimes searching for their birth parents.

Inside Bungalow 3, The RTÉ Investigations Unit examined standards of care at Áras Attracta in Co. Mayo, a residential facility for adults with intellectual disabilities. The facility is now the subject of investigations by the HSE, HIQA and a number of individuals are before the courts following a Garda investigation.
For this BBC Northern Ireland special for the Panorama series, Darragh MacIntyre investigated allegations of historic and ongoing collusion between the British State and republican and loyalist terrorists in Northern Ireland. The film revealed that the State ran thousands of agents during the so called "dirty war" and uncovered new allegations of collusion and cover in a spate of murders.
