'FleadhTV' is a groundbreaking live music and entertainment series that showcased the best of traditional Irish and folk music from the 2014 Fleadh Cheoil in Sligo. 'FleadhTV' was broadcast live on TG4 for 8 hours over 3 nights from 15th - 17th August 2014.
RTÉ’s Referendum 2015 programming delivered comprehensive live coverage of the results of the Marriage Referendum, as well as the Presidential Age Referendum and the Carlow-Kilkenny by-election. Hosted by Bryan Dobson in RTÉ Studios and Miriam O’Callaghan in Dublin Castle, RTE’s live coverage ran for over seven hours of special programming and news bulletins.
A host of top Irish talent performed with the Ulster Orchestra at the Waterfront Hall, Belfast, on St Patrick's Day 2015, including Paul Brady, The Four OF Us, Duke Special, Soak, Moxie, Neil Martin and Codetta. The Orchestra wa conducted by David Brophy.
Saturday May 23rd 2015 will be remembered as the day Ireland became the first country in the world to vote in favour of Marriage Equality and TV3 offered Ireland an alternative Referendum coverage in a three hour live TV event. Presented by Journalist Vincent Browne & Xposé’s host Glenda Gilson, the live event featured live reaction, live interviews with the people directly involved.
