In October 2017 Storm Ophelia hit Ireland and the country went into lockdown. 3News responded by broadcasting a live extended bulletin from 3-6pm while the worst storm in 50 years was at the peak of its power. Six reporters were live from across the country reporting in 140 Km/h winds and driving rain so that our viewers would be informed about what was happening from the safety of their homes.

TG4XX BEO' is a live music and entertainment event which was broadcast on 31st October 2016 to mark the occasion of TG4's 20th Anniversary. 'TG4XX BEO' was broadcast live from 4 separate locations around Ireland and featured Acts such as The Hothouse Flowers, Duke Special & Ulaid, Mairtán O'Connor Big Band, Sharon Shannon, ProdiJIG and Aeons with Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh.

Weather Live is a live audience show exploring Ireland's favourite obsession - the weather. The landmark show was broadcast from a live studio hub in the National Botanic Gardens, Dublin across three nights.
