Darragh Byrne has worked in film & TV for over 25 years. He started his career with a European Media Project award for the Creative Documentary JFK in the Island of Dreams. Since then he has directed numerous projects for broadcasters such as RTÉ, BBC, ITV, ABC (Australia), ZDF, PBS & Channel 4. Darragh developed and directed the award-winning feature film Parked with Ripple World Pics in 2010.
Gerry Hoban is an experienced factual and documentary TV director who typically writes his own narration scripts. He also acts as Series editor and script editor for other programmes. He was Series Editor and director of three episodes of Ireland's Greatest and performed the same role for the factual format Who Do You Think You Are? Other credits include Leagues Apart with Ardal O'Hanlon.
Máire is an award-winning producer/director with RTÉs Factual Unit. She has more than 20 years experience in television with RTÉ, TV3, BBC and the independent sector. Credits include Home Truths which won the IFTA for Best Current Affairs in 2005 and Not Seen Not Heard, which won the IFTA for Best Current Affairs in 2008. Recent documentaries include Who's Buying Ireland?, Independents' Day and The Street.
Gerry Nelson switched to directing following ten years as an award-winning editor. First making commercials, it was when he discovered the creative treatment of actuality inherent within documentary films that he was hooked. Two decades later, as director, writer & photographer his films have taken him around the world filming topics of historical, biographical, musical, political and social interest.
